Worship Minute: Doxology
Worship Minute: I have been thinking alot about the Doxology and wanted to share with you what I hope will help in our understanding of the word. Doxology is a short hymn of praise to God. It comes from the Greek words Doxa (meaning glory, splendor, granduer) and Logos (meaning word, or speaking). So when we sing the Doxology together we are lifting up our voices with the intentions of singing/speaking words that declare the glory and splendor of God Almighty!! What a great way to worship our God. So, go and lift up your voice and glorify the Name of the Lord!! Have a great week! ~ Mark
