In Mark 2, Jesus speaks powerful words to a paralyzed man: “Son, your sins are forgiven.” These words reveal both our greatest need and God’s greatest gift. Sin is real, it carries consequences, and it separates us from God. Yet through Christ, we are offered forgiveness by grace—freely given, not earned.
