Do Not Hide Your Light Real Christian Life

Real Christian life is not about hiding what God has done in you. In Mark 4:21 to 25, Jesus uses the picture of a lamp on a stand to show that His followers are meant to shine. We are called to live as light in a dark world, to be generous with what God has given, and to be responsible with every opportunity and gift.
In this message we look at three marks of a fruit bearing life. Be a light that points people to Jesus. Be generous in the way you give, serve, and respond to others. Be responsible with the truth, time, and talents God has entrusted to you. The measure you use will be measured back to you.

Is Your Heart Good Soil for God’s Truth?

Jesus sat in a boat on the Sea of Galilee and told a simple farming story that still hits home today. In Mark 4, the seed is God’s Word and our hearts are the soil. Some stay hard, some are shallow, some get choked by worry and distraction, and some bear amazing fruit. How is God’s truth landing in your life, and what kind of harvest is growing from it?

I Can Relate: God’s Truth in Everyday Stories

If Jesus Is Relatable, Why Aren’t We?

Jesus told stories people actually understood and met them where they were. If Christ is personal and relatable, then our faith should feel just as ordinary and everyday as leaves blowing in the fall. The Bible is not distant or outdated. It is deeply relevant to real life right now.

Fascination. Familiarity. Fallacy. Family.

In the last few months I’ve noticed a tremendous spike on social media of more athletes and celebrities claiming their faith in Christ. Or cameras are televising players praying before and after the game. Sometimes in groups, sometimes solo. Most recently I saw UFC fighter Connor McGregor says is “saved”, “healed”, and “living by God’s […]

Open Hearts, New Starts

This week we’re gathering by faith—just like the crowds who pressed in to meet Jesus by the lake—coming with our needs, our questions, and our hope that God still moves. We’ll lift Our God and Spirit of the Living God, surrender with My Heart Is Yours, declare Way Maker, and step out with You Make Me Brave. As we open Mark 3, we’re asking God to soften stubborn places, stir fresh courage, and lead us on a real pathway to positive change. If your heart is hungry for more, come join us live—bring a friend, jump in the chat, and let’s seek His presence together.

Breaking Through Hard Hearts: The God Who Heals

This Sunday, we’ll step into Mark 3:1–6, where Jesus enters the synagogue and heals a man’s withered hand—right in front of those waiting to accuse Him. Their stubborn hearts were unmoved by the miracle, but Jesus showed us what courage, compassion, and divine power look like. We’ll learn how to stand firm under pressure, stay tender toward others, and trust God’s restoring work in our lives.

Worship Set: Psalm 139: Far Too Wonderful, O Come to the Altar, Our God Saves, Shout to the Lord, Battle Belongs
Come ready to worship and be reminded that no heart is too hard and no situation too broken for Jesus to restore.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath Mark 2 23 28 Spirit Led Common Sense

Read Mark 2 23 28. Jesus and His disciples picked grain on the Sabbath and the Pharisees called it unlawful. Jesus answered with Scripture and showed the heart of God. The Sabbath was made for people and the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. We look at the story and then draw three takeaways. Get your facts straight before judging. Use Spirit led common sense as you apply God’s Word. Do not live by the dictates of critics. Follow Jesus with grace and truth. Challenge today is to apply Spirit led common sense to the decisions you face.
