To What Extent Should You Forgive Someone Else?

Colossians 3:13 (NET) “bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.” As we have been discussing the articles of spiritual clothing that we are to “put on” each day, this article called forgiveness seems […]

Session 41: Seeking God

Spiritual problems need spiritual solutions.  Mark and I talk about 2 Chronicles 7:14 where God tells the people they can always turn to him when they’re in trouble.  And often the trouble comes because we turned away from God.

Seeking God’s Face

Pastor Bill McMinn and Mark Hostetler look at 2 Chronicles 7:13-15 in this episode and discuss the importance of all of us collectively seeking the Lord for His favor upon our families, Churches, and Nation. We hope that you will be inspired to pray for God’s favor on our land. God bless you!

What does God want Me to Clothe Myself With?

It is important to note that when the Bible tells us to clothe ourselves with something, it is because we do not already have it on! We are not naturally clothed with humility or kindness, mercy or gentleness, or patience. Instead, we must daily choose to put these characteristics “on” every morning by calling upon the Holy Spirit in recognition of the reality that without Him we will not be walking in these attributes! We must not try to “dress ourselves” with articles of our own choosing (e.g. judgement, rudeness, pride, bitterness, selfishness, etc.), but we must choose to put on the articles God has instructed us to wear.

Worship Minute: God’s Blueprint

Worship Minute: God has given us a blueprint to follow in this life – the Bible. I know the importance of having a blueprint when establishing a plan for a construction project because of my 10+ years in the construction industry, and I have appreciated the fact that the great Architect of the universe knows the importance of a blueprint to follow too!
God has instructed us through the Bible on how to live our lives to the fullest, all we have to do is stay true to the “dimensions” and “details” that we find in His Word.
True worshipers are informed, and the best information for a worshipful life is based upon the Bible! God bless your week ~ Mark

Appropriate Conformity

Pastors Bill McMinn and Mark Hostetler discuss Romans 12:2, and the appropriate measures of conformity as Christ followers in todays world. We need to be careful not to fall into the trappings of falling into conformity to the world and the system of darkness that it represents. We need to be transformed by having a relationship with Jesus Christ and to following the leading of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We pray that you enjoy this episode of the Way to Go Podcast.

Session 40: Appropriate Conformity

Pastor Mark and I discuss not conforming to the world but being truly changed.  We don’t want to be changed by the world but to change the world!  We talk openly about the ways we are changing and how it all works!  Change is possible!!

Learned Behavior

Pastor Steve Arsulic is taking a look at the familiar passage out of Philippians chapter 4:10-13, and he has a very important question to consider:
As our choices have worldly impact, not only in our position and relationship with our Father in heaven, but in our relationship with others and the peace and contentment in our own lives; what have we learned, what is our source, and what is our resulting behavior?
We hope that you are encouraged and inspired through this sermon! God bless you.

Are You Putting on the Right Clothes?

As I have stated in previous blog posts (see http://worshipeyes.com/enslaved-to-righteousness/), the idea of Lord is one of Master, or Ruler. If we are the chosen of God and are now under His Lordship, then we must consider how it is that He wants us to operate in this life to bring Him the most glory. In the next few posts I will elaborate upon the truths of Colossians chapter 3. In todays post we will look at the articles of clothing that our Heavenly Father lays out for us each morning to wear. Let’s take a look!
