Man of God

Pastor Bill McMinn challenges us to be strong men (and women) of God in these days. He is preaching from Joshua 14 and uses the example of Caleb to encourage us to be leaders and not passive. Here are some of the talking points form this sermon:
– Be a Man of conviction
– Do not be run by fears
– Follow God whole-heartedly
Thank you for your support and we hope that you are inspired to be strong and courageous for the Lord!

Worship Minute: Faith

Worship Minute: Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and being convinced of what we do not see according to Hebrews 11:1. In 2 Peter 1:5, Peter makes the assumption that his readers are already in the Faith, but I want to stop at the word faith in this verse in order to emphasize the importance of examining ourselves in order to ensure that we really are in “The Faith” before we try to add to it in our lives. Ephesians 2:8 says that we are saved by grace through faith, and that salvation is the gift of God. Jesus Christ is the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:10), so we need to make sure that the faith we have is in Him and Him alone – not our works, or any other means. God has given us everything necessary for life and godliness, and His precious promises made us partakers of the Divine Nature, so if that is your faith then next week we can start to explore the 7 things that we should be adding to our faith in order to grow in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ our Lord! Have a worshipful week. ~ Mark

Session 16: Listening

Listening is a much needed trait these days.  It’s easy to talk and harder to listen so let’s take a look at what the Bible says in this regard!  Appreciate Mark doing the show with me!!
