Hope – CR Message 3-24-20

Through Jesus Christ, hope is available to all! Is something stealing your joy? Your peace? Come, there is an answer…

Worship Minute: Plaguing Thoughts

Worship Minute: Looking at anxiety and the thoughts that plague us through the lenses of worship. God tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to take captive our thoughts, and to make them obey Christ. The Bible says in Philippians 4:6-7 that in order to get peace we need to be in prayer. The battle of anxiety starts in the mind, and so the solution to anxiety will be to gain control of what our thought patterns are and to apply the Truths of God’s Word to the area we are anxious about. Remember- be anxious for nothing, but in everything pray!! That is what a worshiper needs to be doing. Have a great week~ Mark

Worship Minute: Overcome Worry

Worship Minute: I battle anxiety. It’s true and it’s something that I have battled for a long time without even understanding it. Yesterday I was challenged by the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:34, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.” As we make adjustments to our schedules and try to plan for the future, it is so important to do so out of confidence and faith, not anxiety and worry! Let’s disengage from the constant negativity and media feeds, and let’s get out and enjoy nature, read God’s Word, Pray often, and have fun with our families during this time. May God bless you and keep you! ~ Mark
