Godly Perspective on Life’s Frustrations
Life rarely goes according to plan. What happens when your schedule gets interrupted, your expectations fall short, or your resources seem too small? In Mark 6:30–44, we see Jesus turn an unexpected interruption into one of the greatest miracles of His ministry — feeding 5,000 with five loaves and two fish. This week, we’ll be […]
Day 31 of 40 Days

Read Daily Devotional Psalm 90 is a prayer of Moses and it offers important insights for us regarding how brief, precarious, and God-dependent human life is. As Moses prays in verses 13-17, he commits himself and the Israelites to God, and pleads for three things: First, Moses asks for reconciliation with God. Why? Because in […]
Day 30 of 40 Days

Read Daily Devotional Psalm 9 is a triumphal hymn, in which we see God as Conqueror. It’s believed that in David’s day, it may have been written in reference to his victory against Goliath. In our modern-day application, we can see it as Jesus’s Victory over Satan. When we look at the first two verses, […]
It’s a Heart Issue | What’s Really Inside Matters

It’s easy to focus on appearances—but God is focused on the heart.
In Mark 7, Jesus confronts the idea that outward behavior makes someone holy. The religious leaders had all the right rules and traditions, but their hearts were far from God. Jesus makes it clear: true change doesn’t start on the outside—it starts within.
This Sunday, we’ll dive into what it really means to follow Christ from the inside out:
• Are we focused on appearances or transformation?
• Are we following man-made rules or God’s truth?
• What’s really flowing out of our hearts?

Day 29 of 40 Days

Day 28 of 40 Days

Read Daily Devotional David calls out to the Lord while in the “depths”. What are the depths of life? I think of the middle of an ocean — a place where the water’s depth goes down until one can’t see the sun and stretches wide enough that the shore can’t be seen. The depths of […]

Day 27 of 40 Days

Read Daily Devotional David was a man after God’s own Heart, well acquainted with what it meant to walk blamelessly and faithfully, as well as what it meant to succumb to destructive, momentary pleasures. He knew the joy of being able to hold his head up confidently before God, and what it meant to cower […]
Move Forward Mark 6

This week we are in Mark 6 and discover what it means to truly follow God’s lead. Even after rejection and resistance, Jesus kept moving forward and sent His disciples out in faith. This message reminds us not to let critics or obstacles define us, but to trust God completely, confront what needs to change, and expect Him to work through obedient faith.
