I wanted to put some of my favorite posts from the past 6 months of writing these blogs in this post, and I would encourage you to read them either for the first time or a refresher. I really appreciate your support and pray that the Spirit is using this site to bring you encouragement and to help us to understand that worship is far more than singing a song!
If you have noticed, there are not many posts that actually deal with the subject of worship (as we know it), but most posts have to do with holy living (which is a more accurate and Biblical view of worship). Romans 12:1 says, Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice—alive, holy, and pleasing to God—which is your reasonable service. Too, we can see that our holy lifestyle and presentation of our lives to God to be used by Him is the most authentic form of worship! I have tried to carefully and intentionally instill that in the writings from this blog, and I pray that it has helped you to become more worshipful both in lifestyle and in song.
Here are the top ten posts that I really enjoyed writing (not in any particular order):
These next three I will count as one:
Those posts were some of my favorites to study out and write, and I hope they bring you encouragement too!
I will be changing the format of the posts in that I will be using the songs scheduled for that week in our Sunday services at Eagleville Bible Church, and using these songs to lead us into the Scriptures and why we sing them in our Church! I hope that it will be a blessing to us all and help to inform our worship a bit better. Please feel free to share this website with your friends and family too!
God bless you!
