Mercy Always Comes Back Around #MercyMatters #BoomerangEffect #FaithInAction

It’s simple—mercy in, mercy out.”
What we throw out into the world eventually circles back. If you have no mercy, you’ll receive no mercy. Based on reaping and sowing, it’s a bad idea. I wouldn’t be breathing these things into the air without understanding that it could very well be a boomerang that’s heading right back for you. Jesus said that the measure that we use for others will be used on us as well. If I’m hard on other people and want them to get theirs, then I had better be perfect. And guess what? We’re not. Sure, you may not have been as horrible as THAT horrible person but you’re not perfect enough to take on the position of praying evil on others.

How God Shows Up in Nature Every Day

In this episode of the Way to Go Podcast, Pastors Bill McMinn and Bradly Brobst reflect on the role of nature in pointing us toward the Creator. From birdsong and sunsets to thunderstorms and wildflowers, they explore how the natural world can stir awe, build faith, and call us back to a God-centered perspective. Whether you’re on a hike or just looking out your window, creation has a message: God is good, powerful, and near.

Give God the Credit

In this episode of the Way to Go Podcast, we reflect on the power of acknowledgment—giving God the credit for the blessings in our lives. Whether it’s spiritual growth, financial provision, or the people around us, every good thing comes from the Lord. With verses like Psalm 16:2 and James 1:17, we’re reminded that apart from Him, we have no good thing. Don’t let pride or forgetfulness steal the praise God deserves. Let’s stop and recognize His faithfulness in every part of our story.

One Day at a Time

Worrying about tomorrow can rob us of the peace God offers us today. In this episode, we’re reminded that God holds our future, so we don’t have to fear it. Whether it’s the news cycle, deadlines, or the unknown, Jesus calls us to live one day at a time, trusting that His provision and grace are more than enough for today’s troubles. Let go of anxiety and grab hold of faith—God’s got this.

Mustard Seeds –

This week, we explore two of Jesus’ parables: the mustard seed and the yeast. These stories, though simple, illustrate profound truths about the Kingdom of God. Both the mustard seed and yeast start small, yet their impact is transformative, growing into something far greater than their beginnings.

Jesus describes the Kingdom as something that begins humbly, like a mustard seed planted in a field, or yeast worked into dough. Over time, these small, unassuming actions produce growth and permeate their surroundings, much like the Gospel transforms lives and communities.

The parables remind us to trust in the power of small acts of faith. A kind word, a prayer, or sharing the Gospel may seem minor but can lead to extraordinary change. They also challenge us to consider the influence we bring into the world: Are we planting seeds of faith and working the yeast of the Gospel into every area of our lives?

As we reflect on this message, let’s be encouraged by the power of God’s truth to grow and transform. Small beginnings can have eternal impact when rooted in His Kingdom. Let’s remain confident, persistent, and intentional in being a good influence for Jesus.
