Mercy Always Comes Back Around #MercyMatters #BoomerangEffect #FaithInAction

It’s simple—mercy in, mercy out.”
What we throw out into the world eventually circles back. If you have no mercy, you’ll receive no mercy. Based on reaping and sowing, it’s a bad idea. I wouldn’t be breathing these things into the air without understanding that it could very well be a boomerang that’s heading right back for you. Jesus said that the measure that we use for others will be used on us as well. If I’m hard on other people and want them to get theirs, then I had better be perfect. And guess what? We’re not. Sure, you may not have been as horrible as THAT horrible person but you’re not perfect enough to take on the position of praying evil on others.

In this episode of the Way to Go Podcast, we reflect on the power of acknowledgment—giving God the credit for the blessings in our lives. Whether it’s spiritual growth, financial provision, or the people around us, every good thing comes from the Lord. With verses like Psalm 16:2 and James 1:17, we’re reminded that apart from Him, we have no good thing. Don’t let pride or forgetfulness steal the praise God deserves. Let’s stop and recognize His faithfulness in every part of our story.

You’re not stuck in the grave—Jesus calls you to rise and run into the light of His glorious day.

Why Jesus Is Worth Celebrating

What makes Jesus so great? On this Palm Sunday, we reflect on the suffering servant from Isaiah 53 and explore the deep truths about who Jesus really is. He sympathizes with our pain, supports us in our sorrow, takes away our sin, and brings peace through His sacrifice. You’ll walk away with a greater appreciation of Christ’s humility, power, and redeeming love.

From Suffering to Salvation

Jesus didn’t just suffer—He served, sacrificed, and changed the world. Isaiah 52–53 paints a vivid picture of a servant who gave everything so we could be made new. In this message, we explore how Christ’s example calls us to selfless service, wise living, and spiritual transformation. Discover what it means to sacrifice for something greater and why Jesus is the only One who could sprinkle the nations with salvation.

One Day at a Time

Worrying about tomorrow can rob us of the peace God offers us today. In this episode, we’re reminded that God holds our future, so we don’t have to fear it. Whether it’s the news cycle, deadlines, or the unknown, Jesus calls us to live one day at a time, trusting that His provision and grace are more than enough for today’s troubles. Let go of anxiety and grab hold of faith—God’s got this.

When we make Him our priority, everything else falls into place. It’s not about crowding God out of our busy lives, but about giving Him the first and best of our time, attention, and devotion. Let’s start the year right—pursuing God with focus and faith.
