Worship Minute: Are you feeling stuck in your faith? Check out this Scripture: “For if these things are really yours and are continually increasing, they will keep you from becoming ineffective and unproductive in your pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ more intimately.” (1 Peter 1:8)
This is the last of the verses in the passage that we have been going through in the past few weeks, and it is an encouragement to continually increase in these virtues so that our pursuit of God will be productive. As a worshiper, we should be interested in anything that will help us in our pursuit of God. Here are all of the virtues that were listed and that we went through: faith, excellence of character, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly love, and unselfish love. What virtue is lacking in your life? May God’s grace be lavished upon us all as we grow in our knowledge and pursuit of Him. Now, let’s continue to add these virtues to our lives and grow in our faith! Have a great week. ~ Mark
